About

I was honored to have been appointed as the 57th Mayor for the city of Hudson Ohio on April 12th 2022 and then duly elected by the citizens of Hudson during both the general election on November 8th 2022 and most recently on November 7th, 2023.  Thank You.

I have 30-years of experience, leading and managing global departments in a technical manufacturing company (Sales, Marketing, Customer Service and Applications Engineering).  I also own and operate my own LLC company as a Technical Business Consultant.

I hold a bachelors degree from the University of Akron in Electronics Engineering and an Executive Master's degree in Business Administration with a focus on international studies from Kent State University.  I have earned recognition certificates in various business training modules as well as completed a weeklong course at the Center for Creative Leadership.

I have a long history of volunteering and giving back to my community, which includes: The Geauga County Humane Society, Portage County United Way, Northeast Ohio Girl Scout Troops, Hudson Local School District and PTO events, numerous City and local organizational events in Hudson and most recently having served as a board member on the city of Hudson's Architectural & Historic Board of Review.

My passion is to help people and do that through a key concept that I refined over a decade ago.  That concept is called the 3-Cs, which represent healthy Communication, a willingness to Collaborate and the ability to Compromise when necessary and in order to find a mutually beneficial solution.

To date, I have focused my role as the Mayor of Hudson based on the foundation of 3 pillars.  Those being: 1) To conduct and chair the official City Council meetings in a professional, fair and balanced manner, 2) To promote our City at every opportunity that is afforded to me and 3) To add value and perspective with my seat at the table and to do so in the best interests of the Residents of Hudson.

I am married to my wife Marilyn and we have enjoyed raising and supporting 2 children in the Hudson City School District.  We were both born and raised in Northeast Ohio and have family as well as many friends in the City of Hudson and surrounding area.

Moving Hudson into the future with balance and proper fiscal planning can bring much continued success.

Thank you.
